The New York Times is reporting that the FBI has arrested the wife of Omar Mateen, the murderer who killed 49 people in an Orlando nightclub on June 12, 2016.
Noor Salman reportedly evaded FBI surveillance with her young son months ago after word escaped investigators did not believe she was telling the truth about her involvement in the attack at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub.
She was taken into custody by FBI agents in the sanctuary city area of San Francisco’s outer county. Prosecutors of the case had been weighing levying charges against Salman, who, in an interview last year with The New York Times, claimed she did not have witting involvement of the terrorist attack perpetrated by her husband.
