The Day Before Trump Takes Office — The Beltway Times

Wednesday 63°42°F

The day before Trump takes office, Washington D.C. appears much like any other American city. Traffic is moving in the unrestricted areas. Pedestrians are a mixture of families with children, business people, tour groups, and the homeless.

On Pennsylvania Avenue is it clear that tomorrow is a big day. There are tourists, news crews, cameras, and vendors lining the area cordoned off for the parade. A choir can be heard practicing for tomorrow’s performance.

Police cars line the street in preparation for tomorrow’s parade.

“Don’t be rude. I’m not giving you a question. You’re fake news.”

#DisruptJ20 propaganda is plastered all over the city.

The next 24 hours in D.C. will be interesting.
