Clinton Foundation Cuts Ties With Haiti, Child Sex Trafficking Bust Follows — The Beltway Times

Thursday 45°33°F

Last Saturday, the Clinton Foundation announced that it would be cutting funding to programs in Haiti, and The Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership and the Clinton Global Initiative will be closing shop in the weeks to come. Donna Shalala, President of the Clinton Foundation, admits that funding to both programs has been drained due to the current political climate.

Haitian National Police rescued 33 minor girls between the ages of 13-17 the following Sunday. Officials believe that missionaries implicated in the attempted trafficking were planning on smuggling the girls to the Dominican Republic. Nine adults were arrested in the sting operation. The Clinton timeline in Haiti reveals a connection between these two events.

The Clinton Foundation (CF) was established in 2001 under the guise of humanitarianism. However, several investigations and reports suggest that the CF was not only a pay-for-play money-laundering scheme, but also an elaborate cover-up for multiple high profile scandals. After the earthquake that devastated Haiti in 2010, the United States donated $3.9 billion toward reconstruction effort, and Bill Clinton, the designated UN representative for aid to Haiti (while Hillary maintained her position as Secretary of State), had control over the majority of the finances for Haiti. The Haitian people saw very little of that money.

In fact, the people noticed that the majority of the funds went to companies that made generous donations to the Clinton Foundation. The projects would often overlook or jeopardize the increasing needs of the people. For example, the CF selected Clayton Homes to build temporary, “hurricane proof” shelters in Haiti.  Clayton Homes is a construction company owned by Warren Buffet’ s Berkshire Hathaway; Buffet is an active member of the Clinton Global Initiative. The shelters built were often structurally unsafe with high levels of formaldehyde in the insulation within their walls.  A number of Clinton’s affiliates showed up with Bill at a 2011 Housing Expo that cost more than $2 million to stage. Bill Clinton claimed it would be a model for the construction of thousands of homes in Haiti, however Clinton has yet to build a single habitable home in Haiti.

It’s important to note the Clintons’ relationship with Laura Silsby and Jeffrey Epstein. Hillary Clinton has an extensive history with convicted child sex trafficker Laura Silsby and it was Silsby who led the team of missionaries into Haiti that was arrested in the sex trafficking sting. Clinton brokered the release of all of the missionaries except for Laura Silsby less than three weeks after the arrests- she would later receive a lighter sentence. The Clintons have also been involved with Jeffrey Epstein; flight logs indicate that Bill Clinton traveled often on Epstein’s private plane dubbed “The Lolita Express”. He would often travel without the Secret Service, and the plane visited multiple exotic locations notorious for human sex trafficking such as Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, and Haiti. Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution in 2008, and served just 18 months in jail for the offense despite outrage from victims advocates. Epstein was one of the original brainchildren for the Clinton Global Initiative and also a frequent donor to the CF.

According to the U.S. State Department’s 2016 Trafficking in Persons Report, Haiti is a source and destination country for people to be sold into domestic servitude and prostitution. The connections mentioned above only begin to scratch the surface of the Clinton’s collusion with known criminals and its exploitation in Haiti. Further research suggests evidence of conspiracy, treason, racketeering, and most importantly child sex trafficking.

Could this recent bust be indicative of trouble on the horizon for the Clinton Foundation?
